The statement “Your future will be determined by what you do today” is so fit for everyone joining the KMCE. Your future will be shaped by what you do over the years you spend with us. It is important to make a distinction between obtaining a degree and learning. The academic processes of KMCE are suitable for learning and competence development. Many years ago Albert Einstein said “The purpose of education is to develop thinking” and similarly Herbert Simon stated, “Learning occurs from what the student does & thinks”.
The biggest challenge for both, institutions and students is to take a detour from the traditional approach of rote learning & written examination which emphasized, for too long, recall & memorization, this approach stifled well-structured & creativity in colleges. For decades, we have been functioning in classrooms like a trans-receiver system and evaluating students through “direct & single correct answer” questions that never tested learning & thinking. It was a test of memory.
At KMCE, we promise you will have a unique experience dealing with issues that arise in everyday life. You will spend a good amount of time doing and thinking. The academic processes in KMCE will equip you with skills & thinking to deal with both professional & personal lives. We have a well-structured program delivery mechanism that assures learning and a well-rounded personality. I have no doubt that your experience will be exceptional and incredibly enlightening, helping you to handle obstacles in real life in the future.
Wishing you all the best!
